Rosina McCumiskey Knows Oyster Bay
A sweet young voice identified the Dec. 9 mystery picture in the Enterprise Pilot. She said, “It’s the First Presbyterian Church. I know because I go there,” said Rosina McCumiskey. She is a student at the Vernon School. “My brother knew too, his name is Willie and he goes to Vernon also,” she added.
Mildred Austin called to identify the photo, “The beautiful picture of the dog with the Santa Claus hat. He is our favorite dog at the First Presbyterian Church of Oyster Bay. He was at the Victorian Fair and people could have their picture taken with him and Santa Claus.”
We were nervous when we saw the picture of the dog going into the mystery photo column. While we took the shot and sent it along for a mystery item, we were concerned we wouldn’t get a response, but dog lovers are a great breed. Our thank you to both callers.
