The HASC Uniform Drive to benefit Passback.org was a great success. The shipment, which contained over 100 various items of athletic gear, was shipped to St. Lucia in November with TOCO (www.theyoftencryoutreach.org). The club collected the following items: soccer shorts, 52 pairs; soccer cleats, 37 pairs; football cleats, three pairs; baseball cleats, 10 pairs; shin guards, 17 pairs; knee pads, two pairs; training cones, four; socks, 38 pairs; baseball pants, nine; baseball shirts, four; baseball hats, three; batting helmet, one; sport shirts, nine; sweatpants/soccer pants; two, HASC reversible jerseys, 72; soccer bag, one.
Soccer clubs from Farmingdale, Plainedge, East Meadow, Garden City, Syosset, Bethpage, Valley Stream and Sayville also donated 49 team jerseys.
