Obituary – Edgar J. Barnett Jr.

Edgar J. Barnett Jr., of Oyster Bay, died on Dec. 25, 2010. Wife of Judy. Father of Bruce, Craig (Lynn), James (Elizabeth), Edward and Frederick. Grandfather of nine. Brother of Albert (Marilyn) and the late Charles (Audrey). He was past president of the Kiwanis of Syosset, a longtime committeeman for the Syosset Republican Club. He was a member of The Knights of Columbus Council # 1206 and a 3rd degree Knight. Arrangements were made by the Francis P. DeVine Funeral Home, Oyster Bay. Funeral Mass Thursday at 10: 30  a.m. at St. Dominic’s RC Chapel. Interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Catholic Daughters of America Court Sacred Heart of St. Dominic’s Church.
