Obituary – John R. Furio

John R. Furio, born March 16, 1920 in Mola di Bari, Italy, the son of the late Vittorio and Nicola Furio, passed away Dec. 20, 2010. A longtime resident of Farmingdale, he is survived by his wife Marjorie, children, Nicholas and Victoria, and three grandchildren, Paul, Kristen and Steven. He was a WWII U.S. Army veteran and retired aircraft mechanic for Fairchild Republic Aviation. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was held Dec. 24 at St. Kilian RC Church with interment following at Calverton National Cemetery.
