Family Fun Time on Sundays
On Sunday afternoons beginning Jan. 9, the St. Paul’s Field House will be open for “Family Fun” for village families. This open time provides the opportunity for families to enjoy various gym activities in an indoor environment. The gym will be available for use from noon to 3:30 p.m. each Sunday until March. This time is designated for family time only. No organized practices or workouts will be allowed. Although there will be staff to monitor activity, this is not a drop off program. We ask the elementary- aged children be accompanied by an adult. For the safety of our users, no lacrosse or baseball will be allowed.
Tennis Ultimate Workout for Adults
The Recreation Department also offers a tennis workout program at Community Park Tennis Facility that drills experienced tennis players. This 1-1/2 hour class is available on Saturday mornings at 10 a.m. at a cost of $249. The program runs for nine weeks. To register for this great workout, visit the Recreation Office at 108 Rockaway Ave. Payment must accompany registration.
Open Gym for Middle/High Schoolers
The Field House is open beginning Tuesday, Dec. 7 for grades six–12 from 3:30 to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursday for basketball and volleyball. The Field House will be monitored but no organized activities will be scheduled. This time is for students to play with their friends in a supervised setting. No organized practices and no adults will be allowed in the gym at this time.
