Robert G. Denninger Jr. died on March 17, 2011 in Lake Worth, FL. Born in Bayville, he was a graduate of Oyster Bay High School in 1953 and Kings Point Naval Academy in 1958. He is survived by his loving wife Maryann (Tomlin); beloved brother of Martha (Marcy) Montello, David and Nancy Denninger; children, Dennis Denninger, Jennifer Hollister; granddaughter Laine Hollister. He was predeceased by his son Donald Denninger and granddaughter Brooke Hollister.
Bob’s first assignment was to work on the atomic submarine in Groton, CT, for Sperry Corp. He went to Harrisburg, PA, and was head salesman in the engine department for Cleveland Brothers, a division of Caterpillar Corp.
Bob was a member of Matinecock Masonic Lodge and Enola Sportman Club. He spent his pastime doing woodworking and camping.
