On Tuesday, May 31, St. Ignatius Loyola will host its 14th Annual Golf Classic at the Town of Oyster Bay Golf Course.
The cost for an individual is $185 and will begin with a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. Included in the price is 18 holes of golf, the use of an electric golf cart, goodie bags and prizes and a barbecue lunch at noon. At the conclusion of the round of golf, a cocktail party and dinner will follow at the Woodlands located on the golf course property.
Sponsorships and deluxe golf packages are available. This year the hole-in-one prize will be a cash prize of $10,000. A silent auction featuring some fabulous prizes will be held during the cocktail hour and dinner. Prior to the outing, St. Ignatius Loyola will be selling raffles for a laptop computer. The price of a raffle ticket is $10 or three for $20, available at the rectory at 931-0056.
