All Shook Up
A musical comedy using the music of Elvis. It takes place in 1955, where one girl’s dream, and a surprise visit from a leather-jacketed stranger, help a small town discover the power of rock & roll. The Emperor’s New Clothes
Presented by the BroadHollow Children’s Theatre. Two con-men “play the palace” in this breezy musical adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s well-known satirical tale. Spring Concert
Presented by the Bremervoerder Choere at 3 p.m. at Park Restaurant, 1132 Hempstead Tpke., Franklin Square, in the big hall of the restaurant. The program will be songs of both the old and new Heimats. Tickets are $10. A buffet dinner follows for $38, cash bar. Open to all. Ladies Night Out
The Floral Park Woman’s Club will hold a Ladies Night Out at St. Elisabeth’s Church, Harvard St., Floral Park at 7 p.m. Come and enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres, tasty desserts, wine, soda, coffee and tea. After enjoying these refreshments, tables of four or more are available to play cards, games of your choice or visit with friends. Fabulous prizes are available at our raffle tables. The cost is $15. Supermarket Bingo
Hosted by the Confraternity of Christian Mothers at St. Catherine of Sienna Parish, in the auditorium at 7:30 p.m., 33 New Hyde Park Rd., Franklin Square. Admission is $5 which includes one board, coffee and cake. For tickets call 437-7599.

Good Deed Contest
Dr. Jay Piskin will be giving away a brand new computer to the winner who submits the best essay. Whether helping a senior citizen cross the street or helping an elderly woman with her groceries, or organizing a fundraiser at school to help other children in the community who are less fortunate, tell your good deed story to Dr. Piskin and you could win a computer. Dr. Jay Piskin believes there is no greater joy for a parent than knowing that their children are on the right path. The contest rewards Good Deeds done by children and teenagers to encourage them to make better choices in life. The contest, open to any youth 18 years of age and under, ends May 15. •Look Good…Feel Better, sponsored by LIJ Medical Center in association with the National Cosmetology Association, the Toiletry Fragrance Association and the American Cancer Society. The program reaches out to women with cancer and teaches them how to best apply makeup and wear their hair while undergoing cancer treatment.
