Clueless actress and brand new mother, Alicia Silverstone and rock star husband, Christopher Jarecki have named their new born baby son, Bear Blu, which may indeed be included in the circle of the most eccentric celebrity child names of all time.
On May 9, Alicia Silverstone posted on her blog The Kind Life, “My husband and I welcomed our 7 lb 15 oz baby boy Bear Blu Jarecki into the world on May 5th at 7:50am (PT). We are all three in love! I’m so grateful to this community for all the love, support, good wishes and happy vibes you’ve sent me during my pregnancy…it has been wonderful. Thank you all!”
The couple was wed in 2005 after eight years of dating. The 34 year old star of Clueless reportedly gave birth the 7 pound 15 ounce baby Bear Blu at a yet to be disclosed Los Angeles hospital on Thursday May 5 2011. The happy parents are already safely back at home with their new born son Bear.
While pregnant, Silverstone had been promoting her new vegan cookbook entitled The Kind Diet. On the books website she wrote “We are all three in love! I’m so grateful to this community for all the love, support, good wishes and happy vibes you’ve sent me during my pregnancy…it has been wonderful.”
Joining the circle of eclectic celebrity child names recently are also Mariah Carey’s twins Monroe and Morocan.
