Ashton Kutcher is the latest star actor to be rumored to take over for Charlie Sheen in “Two and a Half Men.”
Rumors surfaced Thursday night saying Kutcher is the leading candidate to replace Sheen in CBS’ most talked about show.
And Kutcher didn’t do much to discredit those reports after two tweets that he posted to his followers on Twitter about an hour apart from each other.

The Hollywood Reporter reported on Thursday that CBS and Warner Bros. were finishing up a deal that would finally bring an end to the questions surrounding Sheen’s replacement.
According to The Wall Street Journal Kutcher is up for a big pay-day: about $1 million per episode in his new role on TV’s number one comedy.
Kutcher’s career lifted off while he was in the sitcom “That 70s Show.”
He became popular among young people with his MTV show–“Punk’d–where he pulled pranks on other celebrities, almost bringing some to tears at times.
Kutcher then focused his attention on the big screen, and most recently acted alongside Natalie Portman in the comedy “No Strings Attached.”
Sheen’s fall from grace has been well documented, of course. It all started with his much publicized disagreements he had with the shows’ creator, Chuck Lorre.
Soon after, he joined Twitter, waved a machete while drinking “tiger’s blood” on top of a building, and started travelling the country in his “My Violent Torpedo of Truth,” tour.
And of course, during all this, Sheen believes he has been “winning.”
Now, CBS looks like they are ready to move on without Sheen, who helped propel the show to the number one spot.
Kutcher’s name wasn’t the only person rumored to take over for Sheen in the last 48 hours.
Reports surfaced on Thursday that Hugh Grant was joining “Two and a Half Men,” but a deal didn’t materialize.
“He (Grant) was in the mix, among others. I don’t know if it’s dead, but it’s unlikely,” an anonymous source close to the negotiations told Reuters.
