The Hicksville Fire Department Rescue Co. #8 is inviting all to join them in supporting local families and not-for-profit organizations at its 18th Annual Charity Golf Outing on Friday, June 10 at Swan Lake Golf Club, 373 River Road, Manorville, NY.
“The volunteers of the Hicksville Fire Department are proud members of the community and we look forward to this golf outing to support and improve the quality of life for our fellow Hicksville residents,” says William Schuckmann, past Hicksville Fire Department Rescue Co. #8 chief and current Golf Outing Committee Chairman. “Thanks to the community’s ongoing participation, we have watched our golf outing evolve into a tradition and outpouring that has touched the lives of many for nearly 20 years.”
Thanks to the participation generated during last year’s charity golf outing, and working in conjunction with the Hicksville Boys and Girls Club, the Department was able to spread some added holiday cheer last December when it donated hundreds of presents to Hicksville families in need.
Taking place rain or shine, shotgun start is at 8 a.m. Registration is $150 per player, which covers the green fee, golf cart, continental breakfast and lunch, buffet dinner at Hicksville Fire Department Station 1 and a variety of door prizes. Sponsorship opportunities for tee or green signage are also available for $175. Miscellaneous donations in any amount are also welcome and appreciated.
