After the Casey Anthony trial shocked the nation once more during her sentencing on Thursday, entrepreneurs immediately made their moves to make money off of this unfortunate situation. Following the month-long trial Anthony was found not guilty of murder, child abuse and manslaughter charges in regards to the death of her daughter, Caylee. She was however found guilty of lying to investigators.
According to Huffington Post, Vivid Entertainment has offered Casey Anthony a job in one of its new porn films. Vivid co-founder Steve Hirsch told TMZ that life after the trial will not be easy for Anthony and he believes that the porn industry would be an easy transition for her.
Hirsch has apparently attempted to contact Anthony through her lawyer Jose Baez, however he believes she may not need the job. According to Fox News, the 25-year-old Anthony could make quite a large sum of money if she sells her story to the press.
Gene Grabowski, a crisis management expert, believes that Anthony’s legal counsel is definitely advising her to limit her exposure to ensure that all her statements to the press are prepared. However, Grabowski does believe that it is that Anthony may agree to a high-paying interview on either ABC’s “20/20” or Oprah Winfrey.
Both communication and legal experts alike believe that Anthony is likely to agree to one of these high paying interviews and expect that Anthony could make over $1 million in a single interview. However many people speculate that being such an unsympathetic figure will not work well for her in interviews and might create further outrage from spectators.
Anthony was sentenced early Thursday morning.
