Someone made a great comment about Oyster Bay that we just had to pass along to you. Not that you don’t know it is true, but it’s nice to see it in black and white.
He said, ‘The thing about Oyster Bay is that unless you’re in it – you’re out of it.”
That is a just great comment. It really says it all. To us what it means is that Oyster Bay has a big heart and will make you a part of the community as long as you do your part and show up and actually get involved.
That is a great lesson for new businesses – and probably residents too. There is a great opportunity in Oyster Bay for you to become part of “the scene.” It is really simple, do good and be seen; participate by getting out there and becoming part of the many activities in town offered by local entities.
Maybe this is true for everything and everywhere. The New York Lottery says, “You have to be in it to win it.” But we really do think it is a key to happiness in Oyster Bay.
We just want to let people know – there is a way to become part of Oyster Bay and it is not by being passive and not getting involved.
