Dev doesn’t need to look far for a helping hand. In her new video for “Dancing In The Dark,” she has quite a few hands to choose from.

“Close my eyes here you are all alone dancing in the dark/ Tell me baby if it’s wrong to let my hands do what they want/Late at night I pretend we are dance-dance- dancing in the dark,” sings Dev in “Dancing In The Dark.”

Her funky pop video combines a bunch of black painted hands and creepy creatures that include a python and a tarantula. Of course, it wouldn’t be a pop video without the club scene.

Dev’s new single comes from her debut album “The Night The Sun Came Up” which is set for a September release. It follows her first single, “Bass Down Low” that was released this past December.

Dev, 22, was first discovered by The Cataracs when she posted a song on her MySpace. Her song “Booty Bounce” was used in Far East Movement’s single “Like a G6” that became hugely popular. She was signed to Universal Republic this past October. Her debut album is expected to drop September 20.

Even more to look forward to from Dev, she will be featured in David Guetta’s upcoming album, “Nothing But The Beat.”

“Tell me baby if its wrong/Dancing in the dark/ To let my hands do what they want/ Dancing in the dark,” sings Dev. Check out her video.
