Edward J. Dudas, a native of Brooklyn, formerly of Mill Neck, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2022 of natural causes. He was 90 years of age. He lived in Tallahassee, FL, since 1984. He was a veteran who received the Philippine Liberation Ribbon, Bronze Star and WWII Victory Medal.
He had a distinguished 42-year career with American Airlines, retiring in 1981 as superintendent of maintenance at JFK.
He was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn in 1997 and is survived three sons: Stephen Dudas of Oyster Bay, Joseph Dudas of Connecticut and Edward DeMartino of Washington State; a sister Lillian; two brothers, Walter and Alfred; and three grandchildren: Stephen, Patrick and Justin.
