Jennifer Love Hewitt Stars In New Show As Prositute

The Ghost Whisperer star, Jennifer Love Hewitt will return to television in “The Client List.”

Jennifer recently starred in Ghost Whisperer, which ran from 2005 to 2010. The show followed Melinda Gordon, played by Jennifer, who was able to communicated with the dead. Melinda helped spirits resolve their problems and cross over to the spirit world. The CBS show was canceled after five seasons.

This week, news that Jennifer Love Hewitt would be returning to TV went viral. The actress will star in Lifetime’s new original one-hour series called The Client List, that follows a Texas wife as she takes an illegal job at a spa-turned-brothel. Jennifer, 32, will executive produce the hourlong series as well as star in it.

Currently, the series is set for ten episodes and according to USA Today, Lifetime has entered into a first look development deal for both series and movies with Hewitt’s production company Fedora Films.

According to Ace Show Biz, the series will follow her as she balances two different lives: one as a single mom in a conservative town struggling to provide for her family, and the other as an ambitious businesswoman working with a rowdy, sexy and unpredictable group of women.

The show will debut next year. It is based on Lifetime network’s 2010 original movie, The Client List, in which Jennifer Love Hewitt playing a Texas housewife who’s forced to run a health spa/ brothel to make money.

The Client List was inspired by a true story. It followed Samantha Horton, played by Jennifer, a former physical therapist. Horton and her husband are laid off from their jobs and Samantha accepts and offer to work at a massage studio in a nearby town. She soon realizes that the other staff members are actually prostitutes who service wealthy men. Soon, Horton starts making money only to be caught red handed.
