Star Jets quarterback, Mark Sanchez was featured on the cover of GQ for September’s issue.
The hot NFL player covered the pages of the men’s magazine without a shirt, in a bubble bath and in the stands of a stadium.
Sanchez talked football and broadway. Sanchez told GQ about his coaches comment that he would consider benching the star athlete. Sanchez said he wished Rex Ryan wouldn’t have been so honest.
“I wanted to fight him,” Sanchez told the magazine. “I was really mad.”
In the story, Sanchez also shared his DVR titles that include a documentary about Justin Bieber and Episodes of Glee. Yep, we too were shocked to hear what the NFL’s handsome quarterback enjoyed watching.
Even more shocking was that Sanchez revealed his love for Broadway shows. He even compared the Broadway performers to himself.
“Their life is so regimented—like mine. They have eight shows a week. They have to take care of their bodies, stretch, eat right, take care of their voices. You know, their voice is like my arm.”
He went on to tell GQ about his life as a young, rich, famous athlete.
“You have to be a 24-year-old bachelor,” he said. “with the means to do anything, just about, but with the wherewithal and understanding and life skills of a 45-year-old Supreme Court judge.”
This wasn’t the first time Sanchez graced the pages of GQ. Back in June 2009, he was featured in the issue. He portrayed a lifeguard.
