As the cool breeze slowly sneaks into our beautiful summer I can’t help but get the itch to hit the stores.
There is nothing better then end of season sales and if your a smart shopper you can walk out of stores smiling instead of feeling the usual buyers remorse…who am I kidding? There is no such thing as regretful shopping in my book.
Planning ahead is a great way to relieve the stress of last minute shopping and get amazing deals. I have always been the one to start my holiday shopping in the summer and pick up a few steals at the end of any season, only to store them away until the weather calls them back out. But what makes this end-of season extra special for my shoppers? Vacation and Honeymoon shopping!! I was married in January and I can promise that finding great clothes for a winter vacation or honeymoon is very difficult during the months of November to March. If you shop online you will be able to find more options compared to in-stores. Victorias Secret was my best friend when it came to my vacation-wear but trying on clothes and finding the perfect fit is always more fun in person.
Department stores such as Bloomingdales and Macy’s have the beautiful “30% – 50% off already reduced pricing” signs within all of their departments. Not only can you get a great pair of Espadrille’s for under $50 but bathing suits, sundresses, tanks and shorts are all waiting to be hung in your closet. While everyone else is paying full price for fall attire you will be walking out of the stores with twice as many bags and be spending more than half the price. Buying summer clothes now is a safe bet compared to other seasons; with trends always changing, summer fashion is the most consistent and easily carried over into next year. If you are looking to shop for fall try to wait until mid-September or early-October because after “back to school shopping” is complete, stores will then push merchandise for winter and that means more sales.
