According to Suffolk County Police, Edward Louis Ivey Jr., 39, was standing in the street, outside of Wyandanch, when an unknown subject shot him one time at approximately 12:55 a.m. Sunday. Ivey, of Brooklyn, was pronounced dead at the scene. It is believed Ivey was attending a party at the address at the time of the shooting.
