They played locally at the JDR Tournament and finished with a 3-0 record and were finalists in the FLG Tournament.

As well as local tournaments, the 23-athlete team traveled to the Tri-State Tournament in Princeton and the Crimson Tournament on the fields of Harvard University where they left their mark as the team to beat.

Congratulations to Liam McAuliffe for a victorious and exceptional season!

The organization was formed to enhance the attributes of Long Island children through the fundamentals of Lacrosse, while in turn assisting the Long Island Community with various outreach programs. Since athletics are a vital part of children’s lives, FLG believes that participation in sports provides excellent preparation for achievement in school and for later in life. Additionally, the organization hopes to provide the young men and women that join its teams added exposure to college coaches through Fall, Spring and Summer Lacrosse.

As a not-for-profit organization, FLG is a strong believer in providing community service and have been involved in many of them with the team.

Some accomplishments include: FLG “adopted” 5 families for the holidays; helped the Breast Cancer Foundation with their annual appeal; with the Metropolitan Lacrosse Foundation and the Michael Piegare Foundation started youth PAL Lacrosse in the town of Roosevelt.
