Last week, news that a porn star tested positive for HIV went viral. But this weekend the actor was re-tested and found HIV-negative putting the porn industry back to work.

The news that an adult industry actor tested positive for HIV caused the porn industry to hault production. According to the Associated Press, production had been shut down since Monday in the San Fernando Valley’s adult entertainment industry.

According to the Associated Press, the actor was in Florida and had been slated to work on Mofos.com before the test results came back.

This incident follows a similar one that happened just last year when another porn actor named Derrick Burts was diagnosed with HIV. According to reports, he left the industry and has become an advocate for the use of condoms in it.

MSNBC reported that prior to this incident, Adult Industry Clinic in L.A. was an important database for the adult entertainment industry that performers relied. It kept medical records of the performers but closed down in May due to financial issues.

When AIM was open, if a performer tested positive, a quarantine list would show who that performer worked with, who those people he worked with had worked with in turn, reported International Business Times.
