Sarah Palin and Glen Rice? The two were romantically linked this past week and surprisingly, it seems that this is one of the rare celebrity hookup rumors that seems to be true.

The rumor comes from a new book, “The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin,” by Joe McGinniss in which the author reveals some juicy details about the former Alaska governor—She reportedly hooked up with former NBA player Glen Rice.

According to the Washington Post, the book reveals that a young 23-year-old, Palin was a fresh out of college and working as a sports reporter for Alaska’s KTUU, while Rice was still in school at University of Michigan playing for the Wolverines, when the two had a one-night stand.

According to the Miami Herald, McGinniss’ book is set to be released Tuesday.

Palin reportedly hasn’t commented on the hookup.  Interestingly,
while writing the book, McGinniss rented a house next door to Sarah and her husband Todd in Alaska. Which didn’t sit well with Palin who commented about it on her reality show. She said he should mind his own “frickin” business.

Rice, 44, isn’t denying the relations, he reportedly confirmed his relationship to The National Enquirer.

The retired NBA star was a three-time NBA All-Star, ranking 8th in NBA history with 1,559 three-point field goals. Currently, Rice has been involved in MMA fight promotion, he owns Miami-based G-Force Fights.

Rice is currently single but was once married to Cristy Rice, star of “The Real Housewives of Miami.”  In 2008, Rice was arrested in Miami on suspicion of felony battery. According to reports, Rice assaulted a man that was found hiding in his estranged wife’s closet but charges were later dropped.
