Roll out the red carpet, the Emmys have arrived. Well, on television sets for most of us.
Tonight, the 63rd Primetime Emmys will be taking over television sets at 8 p.m. on Fox. The awards show will be airing live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
This year there are a few things viewers can look forward to. The ever hilarious, Jane Lynch of Glee, who plays a quite quirky cheerleading coach on the hit FOX show, will be hosting—expect some laughs at this otherwise super-serious affair.
And according to gothamist, one of the most highly-anticipated and highly-controversial guests may be presenting—-Charlie Sheen. But it hasn’t been confirmed.
Of course, a ton of great shows are being recognized tonight—Nominations for the 63rd Primetime Emmy® Awards were announced earlier this year from the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in North Hollywood, California. In case you forgot them, we’ve listed them below.
Most notable are the new names to the Emmy nomination list this year. These include Boardwalk Empire, Game of Thrones and Friday Night Lights for outstanding drama series and The Big Bang Theory and Parks and Recreation for outstanding comedy series.
