Lupe Fiasco attended a large protest on Wall Street in New York called “Occupy Wall Street,” also known as “U.S. Day Of Rage.”

The protesters stormed the stock market’s most famous street demanding an end to corruption of the rich and to restore democracy in America.

U.S. Day of Rage website reads, “Bought by hard and soft dollars, disloyal, incompetent, and wasteful special interests have usurped our nation’s civil and military power, spawning a host of threats to liberty and our national security. We have had enough.”

Lupe was interviewed by We Are Change. He spoke about 9/11 and the collapse of 7 World Trade Center. “There was never really a real, proper investigation. It’s just something that always stood out as a sort of elephant in the room for me.”

Building 7 is most controversial to conspiracy theorists. Some believe it was planned by the government while other studies have shown that it collapsed due to the twin towers collapse. According to BET, public investigations by the National Institute of Standards and Technology and others have provided evidence that the lower levels of 7 World Trade Center caught fire after the North Tower fell and burned for hours before its eventual collapse.

This wasn’t the first time Lupe mentioned Building 7. In one of his songs, “Words I Never Said,” Lupe mentioned it, “9/11, Building 7, Did they really pull it?”
