Obituary: Felicia Poveromo

Felicia Poveromo died peacefully and with grace, on Sept. 27, 2011. Wife of the late Joseph. Mother of the late Marie Baccari and Margie Mathieson, Mary Ann Seidman (Ray), Angela Scaperotta (Nick), Josephine Lampe, Phyllis Smykowski (Lou), Dominick Poveromo (Liz) and Michael Poveromo (Mary). Grandmother (Mar) of 18 and great- grandmother of 31 +2. Felicia was loved by many and lived her life devoted to her family. She was often referred to as the peacemaker. Devoted volunteer at St. Francis Hospital for 18 years. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Funeral mass at St. Gertrude RC Church. Interment at Locust Valley Cemetery.
