The game will reportedly be the 49th Super Bowl and the third in the Phoenix area.

Super Bowl XXX was played at Sun Devil Stadium on January 28 ,1996. The Dallas Cowboys played the Pittsburgh Steelers, with the Cowboys taking home the win.

Super Bowl XLII was played at the University of Phoenix Stadium on February 3, 2008. The New York Giants played the New England Patriots with the Giants taking home the win.

This season’s Super Bowl will be played in Indianapolis and the next, in New Orleans.

The Super Bowl will come to New York/New Jersey in 2014. The game will be held at the $1.6 billion venue, Meadowlands located in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Recently, the Super Bowl committee released the logo for the coming game at a restaurant inside the Museum of Modern Art.

It will be the first Super Bowl in the northeast United States. The stadium has no roof, according to the Associated Press, and the logo will feature the George Washington Bridge connecting New York and New Jersey.

The hottest Super Bowl location is not that it will be held in the northeast for the first time, or that Phoenix will get yet another Super Bowl, instead buzz is all about where the 50th Super Bowl will be held in 2016. According to AOL, according to reports, Los Angeles would be an early favorite for the 2016 game. The reason being that it was the site of the first championship played between the NFL and the American Football League, before the rivals merged.
