Merillon 8U Blue Sharks vs. East Williston # 1
The Sharks came away with their 5th straight victory of the season by the score of 8-2. Six pitchers combined for only two runs while striking out 11. Way to go Siva, Franco, Ryan W, Kenny, Demetris, and William. The offense was led by Siva Paturi who was 3 for 4 with 3 RBI’s and a double. Also contributing on offense was Demetris Panouis, Ryan Wasserman, William Regan and Stephen DeRocchis who were a combined 8 for 16 with 4 RBI’s. Great plays in the field by Demetris and Stephen. Siva caught a long fly ball in a busy day for the outfielders. The defense played very solid while allowing only one error. Kenny Hirschfeld was very solid at catcher. It was a great all around team effort. Go Sharks!
