Janet M. Carnesi, of Plainview, passed away Oct. 1, 2011. Retired professor of English at S.U.N.Y Farmingdale. Wife of Anthony. Mother of Deirdre Kuster (Chris), Mark (Monica) and Dean. Grandmother of Alex and Christopher. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home. A religious service was held Oct. 4 at the funeral home. Cremation was private.
