It’s embarrassing enough to get beat up in public, but to be have a video of it surface, is even worse.  Regret is probably what actor, Shia LaBeouf, 25, is feeling at this moment as the public watches him take a beating.

The actor was captured taking a few punches to the head in a video that went viral this past week. The fight reportedly went down in Vancouver, where the actor has been busy filming a new movie called “The Company You Keep.”

The footage shows the actor down on the sidewalk in front of The Cinema Public House, as an unidentified shirtless person punches him repeatedly in the head.

The fight was eventually broken up, the shirtless man ran off and Shia got up and walked away. A few moments later the footage shows Shia being calmed down against a building.

According to reports, the brawl started after someone called the actor a “F****** Fa****.”

The actor wasn’t seriously injured, and the next day, emerged biking around Vancouver sporting a small bruise on his face.

This isn’t the first time Shia got into a bar fight. In February, he was restrained by police after being involved in a fight inside Los Angeles’ Mad Bull’s Tavern. The actor also showed his anger when he threw a cup of coffee on a photographer in Washington D.C.

It’s not known whether or not the actor was under the influence though, he appears a little off in the video. But it wouldn’t be the first time LaBeouf was caught under the influence, He was arrested for DUI in 2007 and was also charged with misdemeanor criminal trespassing after being intoxicated in a Chigaco store in 2008.
