Merillon 8U Blue Sharks vs. Mineola
Bright and early on a blustery morning the Merillon Blue Sharks came away with their 6th straight victory of the season by the score of 7-1. Six pitchers combined for a no hitter while striking out 16 and only allowing 2 balls to be hit into play. Way to go Siva, Franco, Ben, Ryan W, Demetris, and Jackson. The offense was lead by Kenny Hirschfeld and Ryan Wasserman who were a combined 2 for 4 with 4 RBI’s. Also contributing on offense was Franco Dimilta 1 for 2 with an RBI and Jackson Benjamin 1 for 3. Ryan Gaudio contributed on defense with a great play at second base for the put out. Another great all around team effort. Go Sharks!
