Obituary: Matthew T. Walsh

Matthew T. Walsh, of Levittown, died on Oct. 25, 2011. He was retired from NYPD Transit and a retired sergeant U.S. Army. He was former president of the Emerald Society. Husband of Eleanor. Son of Catherine Walsh. Father of Karen Cahill (John), Kevin (Susan), Eileen O’Rourke (Kevin) and Cecilia Schmitt (Joseph). Sister of Catherine Johnson (Joseph). Grandfather of Jennifer, Francis, Matthew, Brendan, Shannon, Johnny, Eddie, Devin, Kyle, Mark and Linda. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Levittown Chapel. Mass at St. Bernard RC Church. Interment St. Charles Cemetery.
