Registration for the Notre Dame CYO Swim Team will be held on November 16 from 6:30-8:30 p.m., at Notre Dame School in the lunchroom.
The season will run from November 19 through late March. Practices are held on Wednesdays from 8 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 2 p.m.. Meets are usually held on the weekends. Practice is at the Chaminade pool. Our home meets will replace Saturday’s practices.
To be eligible to join you must be able to swim one lap without stopping (25yds) and you must meet one of the following requirements:
1. Be a registered parishioner of Notre Dame Church, New Hyde Park.
2. Live geographically in the Notre Dame Parish boundaries.
3. Attend Notre Dame School.
4. Live in an adjoining parish with no swim program (Ex: Holy Spirit).
Please bring three checks to registration; for registration fee, swimsuit (mandatory), and team sweats (optional). Team suits will be available for sizing on November 16 and on the first couple of practices.
