According to detectives, at 9:08 a.m., a 52-year-old Valley Stream man was driving his Harley Davidson motorcycle east on Peninsula Boulevard in Lynbrook when he collided with a Saturn sedan being driven by a 40-year-old woman, headed south on Charles Street. The man ejected from the motorcycle and was rushed to a local hospital with severe head and chest injuries. The woman and a passenger were transported to a local hospital for observation.
Both vehicles were impounded for brake and safety checks. There is no apparent criminality at this time and the investigation in ongoing.
