According to TMZ , The Situation filed a lawsuit against Abercrombie & Fitch—This comes a few months after they asked him not to wear its clothing.

TMZ reported that The Situation filed a lawsuit in Florida and is claiming Abercrombie has infringed on the GTL and the Situation trademarks.

Back in August, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino was asked publicly by Abercrombie & Fitch to stop wearing his clothes.

“We are deeply concerned that Mr. Sorrentino’s association with our brand could cause significant damage to our image,” read an Abercrombie & Fitch press release.

A spokesperson for A&F told the media that the offer is extended to all Jersey Shore cast members.

The move looked like a publicity stunt for Abercrombie & Fitch, a retailer that’s known for hiring shirtless models to stand in front of its doors, and once issued shirts the featured “Jersey Shore” sayings.

Around a year ago, the company released shirts that read, “The Fituation” and “GTL,”

“Hmmm if They Don’t Want Us To Wear Those Clothes Why Make GTL Shirts #yourPRsux,” tweeted cast member, Pauly D.

MTV agreed and called the diss a “clever PR stunt.”

“We’d love to work with them on other ways they can leverage ‘Jersey Shore’ to reach the largest youth audience on television,” MTV said in a statement.
