According to police, on Saturday at 11:40 p.m., a 22-year-old man was walking on Waldorf Avenue near Hempstead Tpke in Elmont when he was approached from behind, by two men. The two men tackled him to the ground and snatched his iPod from his hand. The 22-year-old put up a fight and was able to take back his iPod. Following the lost tug of war over the iPod, the two men fled south on Waldorf Avenue.
According to police, the subjects are described as follows: The first is a black male, 6’0” tall, 200 lbs, wearing a royal blue sweatshirt. The second is described as a light skinned black male, 6’0” tall, 190 lbs, with a thin beard, wearing a gray long sleeve shirt.
