Cops: Man Robs Jeymar USA Corporation

Friday, a man walked into an Inwood store with a plastic bag and a gun and walked out with unknown amount of cash.

According to Nassau County Police, at 11:20 a.m., a man believed to be in his thirties entered the Doughty Boulevard Jeymar USA Corporation. He was holding a black plastic bag and simulating that he had a gun as he jumped through a cashier window and removed an unknown amount of money. He made a break for it but not before he struck a 53-year-old woman who was working behind the counter at the time. She suffered a minor abrasion on her right cheek and was treated at the scene.

The subject was last seen fleeing on foot west on Morris Avenue. He’s described as black, approximately 5’10,” 200 lbs, wearing a black mouton hat, a black mask, a black canvass jacket, black pants and tan work boots.
