Cops: Woman Forged Prescription at CVS

A woman was arrested after she allegedly forged prescriptions for a controlled substance at a local pharmacy.

According to Nassau County Police, Saturday at 1:30 p.m., Teresa Squillante, 45, of Hicksville presented a forged prescription for a controlled substance at a Hicksville CVS pharmacy. Allegedly, Squillante had previously presented forged prescriptions at the same CVS pharmacy and an alert pharmacist recognized her and called the police.

Officers showed up at CVS and arrested Squillante. Additionally, officers found Squillante had previously worked at a medical office in Old Bethpage and appears to have taken prescription pads from that office without authorization.

Squillante is being charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. She will be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Sunday, December 25.
