Burger King Delivery: Burger King To Offer Delivery

Picture 7

Picture 7As if it couldn’t get easier than rolling up to the window of a Burger King in your pajamas and picking up your favorite fast food, it just did.

The burger chain is now offering delivery. That’s right, now you don’t even have to get in your car to get a burger and side of fries.

Burger King has reportedly already started making deliveries. Burger King has already been testing home delivery at restaurants in Maryland and Virginia.

According to USA Today,  there’s a $2 delivery fee, requires a minimum order of $8 and patrons must live within a 10-minute driving distance of the store.

Delivery hours are from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

“Burger King has developed a “proprietary thermal packaging technology,” Jonathan Fitzpatrick, chief brand and operations officer for Burger King told USA Today, “which ensures the Whopper is delivered hot and fresh, and the french fries are delivered hot and crispy.”

If all goes well with the new delivery service, it could expand to other states. If successful, Burger King could move up rank from the No. 2 fast-food chain.
