Three men fail to rob another man walking in Cedarhurst early Sunday.
According to police, a 29-year-old man was approached by three men on Central Avenue at Cedarhurst Avenue at 12 a.m. One of the men demanded cash. When the victim refused to fork it over, the assailant allegedly punched him in the face.
The victim was able to get away and call police. He suffered a laceration and swelling to his right eye but refused medical attention when police arrived on the scene.
