Shots Fired In Hempstead Pierce Entry Door Of Family’s Home

Police are investigating shots fired early Saturday that left a family’s door with two bullet holes.

According to police, Saturday at 11:30 a.m., a Hempstead man heard what he believed to be gun shots. He opened his steel entry door to find that two bullets had indeed been fired, and hit his door. He found that two bullets had pierced his storm door and hit the entry door, all while the man, his wife, and their four-year-old child were home.  The man called police, who recovered the bullets and sent them to the Forensic Evidence Bureau for examination.
