Former “Hills” star Kristin Cavallari announced exciting news, she’s pregnant.
“We are thrilled to announce we are expecting our first child together,” Cavallari and fiance Jay Cutler said in a statement to People Magazine.
Looks like all things are well between the couple that called it quits last year.
“It’s an amazing time in our life and we can’t wait to meet the new addition to our growing family,” they said.
The two were engaged last year, though the couple hit a rough patch in July and ended up calling off their wedding around the same time a spread of Cavallari modeling the latest in wedding dresses hit stands. Talk about bad timing.
The break wasn’t for long. According to Radar, Cavallari, 25, and the Chicago Bears quarterback, 28, got back together in November.
“This time its official..Jay and I are engaged again :),” she tweeted in November.
An insider told People the reason for the temporary split was because the football player got cold feet.
“She got dumped,” another source told the celebrity news magazine. “She’s absolutely devastated. She can’t believe this is happening.”
“She was planning her dream wedding, the date was set, the location — everything was set,” the source continued. “She’s in shock that the dream wedding she was planning is going to end this way.
The two had been together for just 10 months, and were engaged since that April. They had been spending the majority of their time together in Chicago, where Cutler’s team is located and Cavallari’s mother lives. Although Cavallari currently lives in Los Angeles, she had planned to move to the Windy City once football season started.
The former “Hills” and “Laguna Beach” star just tweeted on July 17, “Thx to all my amazing friends for making my engagement party a blast last night!”
