Demi Moore was reportedly rushed to the hospital Monday night and reports say substance abuse may be to blame.
TMZ reported that Moore was allegedly hospitalized due to substance abuse. According to the report, a 911 call was placed late Monday night and paramedics responded to Demi’s L.A. home, later transporting her to a local hospital.
The actress’ rep told the celebrity news site that Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health.
Moore has made headlines in recent months for her skinny figure, and impending divorce.
In November, it was revealed that Moore would divorce hubby, Ashton Kutcher.
The two were married six years but after Kutcher has been linked to a string of scandals, the two announced they would be throwing in the towel.
“I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail, Love and Light, AK,” tweeted Kutcher.
As we previously reported, rumors of a possible breakup surfaced in recent months and followed a scandal in which Kutcher was linked to a string of young women.
First, Kutcher was rumored to have had an affair with a 23-year-old woman, Sara Leal, whom he reported bedded on the couple’s sixth anniversary.
Later, adding fuel to the fire, a photo emerged showing Kutcher with someone that looked just like Leal, though nothing was confirmed—The photo was reportedly taken in June.
”When we are offended at any man’s fault, turn to yourself & study your own failings. Then you will forget your anger,” Moore, 49, tweeted at the time of the allegations.
It wasn’t the first time Kutcher was linked to a young lady. Star previously reported that Kutcher bedded Brittany Jones. Jones reportedly admitted the two made love on the actor’s couch in his living room.
Kutcher, 33, reportedly denied the affairs.
“Star Magazine continuously publishes lies about Ashton Kutcher and many other celebrities. This is not the first, nor will it be the last time they engage in reckless conduct,” read a statement Kutcher’s lawyer released.
