An early morning shooting in West Babylon left one man in the hospital and an investigation underway.
According to Suffolk County Police, a 911 call reported shots being fired outside of Maggie’s Bar at 3:13 a.m. Sunday. Detectives believe the incident occurred at the entrance to the bar’s parking lot, where a man was apparently shot twice in the left calf. Cops say the man transported himself to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
