Jerry Seinfeld is giving Matthew Broderick some fierce competition in a new Super Bowl commercial.
Following a Honda commercial in which Broderick revives his famous role in “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” a new Acura commercial went public, starring Seinfeld and is giving Broderick a run for his money.
In the new Acura commercial, the “Seinfeld” star is so excited about the new Acura NSX that he will stop at nothing to acquire the very first one.
He finds out who the first in line to the new Acura is and goes on a mission to trade with him. Seinfeld offers him money, services, and even the famous Soup Nazi in exchange for the first NSX.
Just when the customer is about to accept use of his personal Manhattan zipline in exchange for the first car, Jay Leno swoops down from the sky and offers the customer a better offer: use of his jetpack and 20-minute trips from NYC to California. Leno then takes to the sky with his new friend and more importantly, the key to the first Acura NSX.
The NSX projected debut is in the next three years.

In January, a teaser of Matthew Broderick’s commercial went viral and had fans buzzing that it could imply a sequel to the famous 1980s movie in which high school senior, Ferris Bueller decides to skip school and spend the day with his girlfriend Sloane Peterson, played by Mia Sara and his best friend Cameron Frye, played by Alan Ruck, in Chicago.
The rumors were shot down when the full commercial aired later that same week. Broderick was starring in a new Honda commercial, to be televised during the Super Bowl is in celebration of the launch of Honda’s 2012 CR-V.
