Bridal Buzz: Spring Styles

Spring is the most popular time and the most beautiful time to get married. The flowers are blooming, the summer is coming and the new styles are super exciting. Here are some hot new bridal styles for Spring 2012:

Textured Skirts. Organza, bunched flowers, petals and beading.  It’s all about that raw cut and giving the skirt a natural look with dimension. Brides can achieve this by opting for a gown with a mermaid essence; one with fit and flare. “It’s for the girl that wants to be vogue, and make a statement,” said Cristina Demarco of Bridal Reflections. “You really have to have that wow factor.”

Pair this look with a birdcage veil and flower in the hair pulled back to one side.

Tulle. This season gowns are seen with silk tulle to one shoulder and are showing off the natural waistline. The light English net material is perfect for spring and summer and gives the gown a dreamy, airy and romantic look. “It’s about romance, it’s that dreamy romance that really captures that essence of a bride,” says Demarco. To jazz it up, she says opt for a beaded belt with a satin sash or flower treatment.

Pair with a bubbly veil that cuts off at the elbow, just covering the back a little bit, but not interfering with the fullness of the tulle skirt.

Lace. When it comes to bridal wear, lace isn’t new, but this season lace is seen framing the back with a keyhole cutout. The classic look is often seen with a faux sleeve effect, tying behind the neck with the center of the back open.“I think this style is great to show the back of a gown,” says Demarco. “It’s really nice and classic and shows off the figure very tastefully.”

Pair this with a cathedral veil with delicate lace scallop trim.
