To say that Adele has had an exceptional year would be an understatement. After winning six Grammys and possibly her most prized award, best album at the Brit Awards, can it get any better for the British songstress?
Possibly so, if that shiny rock on her left ring finger has anything to do with it. Could it be that Adele has anything more exciting, other than winning multiple awards, to smile for in 2012?
When you check out pictures of Adele’s hand from the Brit awards you can clearly tell that she has two rings on her finger. As married women typically wear their rings, Adele was flaunting a simple band and a lavish ring with a huge yellow stone.
However, it would be surprising if Adele actually were engaged. At the Grammy Awards in L.A. she wore a different, yet equally large stone on her left ring finger. It was also the first time she made a public appearance with her current boyfriend, Simon Konecki.
Even though it was their first public appearance together, the two having been dating since last summer.
After talking to Vogue Adele said she was going to take some time off so she can focus on her relationship. “I am f***ing off for four or five years. If I am constantly working, my relationships fail. So at least now I can have enough time to write a happy record. And be in love and be happy,” she also added, “And then I don’t know what I’ll do. Get married.”
Even if Adele is not engaged, marriage is not out of the question either. Rumors stemming from tabloids have reported that Konecki has been planning on proposing to his Grammy-winning girlfriend.
