The Village of Williston Park will shortly have an election for the office of trustee.
My longtime neighbor Diane Thorp is running for this office. She has been my neighbor for 30 years. She is an active and caring member of our community. She has been active in civic affairs like the swim team. She has raised Guide dogs for the blind.
Further, she is helpful to her neighbors during times of snowstorms, and in health emergencies. An example is when my mother fell on our patio. She helped calm my Mom for transport to the hospital. I feel confident that she will bring these traits to work for the people of Williston Park.
