Motorcyclist Collides With Car In Huntington Station, Left Seriously Injured

A man in his twenties was seriously injured when his motorcycle collided with a car Sunday.

According to Suffolk County police, William Bailey was driving his car west on W. 21st Street in Huntington Station when he stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of West Hills Road at 12:50 p.m.  Bailey attempted to proceed west on the street when his car collided with a motorcycle traveling south on West Hills Road.

The driver of the motorcycle was 21-year-old Mike Guiteau, 21, of Huntington Station, who was rushed to Huntington Hospital and admitted with serious injuries. Bailey, 56, of Huntington, was not injured.

The motorcycle and vehicle were impounded for safety checks and detectives are asking anyone who may have witnessed this crash to call the Second Squad at 631-854-8252. All calls will be kept confidential.
