Celebrity pregnancy announcements seem to be in full swing. First there was Jessica Simpson, who’s ready to pop, then Kourtney Kardashian and Snooki.
One top model has hopped on the bandwagon this week announcing she’s also with child.
Top model Adriana Lima has announced she is expecting, again.
“My favorite job in the world is being a mom! My family could not be more happy to announce this news!” she posted on Facebook along with a black and white photo.
The 30-year-old and NBA star husband Marko Jaric are expecting their second child—The couple married on Valentine’s Day in 2009 after meeting at a Los Angeles party in earlier years.
The new baby will join 2-year-old Valentina, who Lima announced she was pregnant with shortly after her honeymoon with Jaric.
She first confirmed the exciting news to People Magazine saying “the entire family is excited, especially Valentina. She keeps blowing kisses to my belly and saying ‘kisses for the baby.'”
“We are so excited” she raved to the magazine and noted that the couple wanted and was ready for a new addition to the family.
