During an evolution class a Florida Atlantic University student erupted into a rage where she began threatening to kill her professor and her fellow students.

WARNING: Some language may be deemed as inappropriate.

The video starts out with Jonatha Carr being disruptive but then she takes it to another level when she screams, “I will kill the f*** out of you,” to her professor and her fellow students in the class.

According to the University Press, the school’s newspaper, the argument started when Carr repeatedly asked her professor, Stephen Kajiura, “How does evolution kill black people?”

It then escalated when Kajiura tried to tell Carr that evolution is not responsible for killing anyone and that’s when Carr escalated the argument. At one point in the video she turns to a white student behind her and says she will kill him, and then eventually gets out of her seat to slam the palm of her hand into the forehead of another student. She antagonizes him by saying “hit me back” multiple times.

FAU student, Rachel Bustamante, who posted the video on YouTube describes the video as:

“Lunatic in my evolution class asking the most absurd question and gets angry when the Prof (Dr. Kajiura) doesn’t know how to answer it. The slide we were on just before was about Female Sexual Selection… Somehow she went off on some tangent with a question about how does Evolution play a role in the killing of all black people. Dr. Kajiura tried to answer her question even though he had no idea what she was talking about. She repeated her question 4-5 more times and it turned into this craziness you see here.”

Carr was escorted from the class and the police were called, reports the Miami New Times.

University Press reports that authorities had to use a taser on Carr and she was then taken to a hospital for observation.
